Roadmarching
This week, Wetherby Air Cadets turned out early for roadmarching – the first training session in a series of practice marches that can lead to the opportunity to join the annual Nijmegen four day march.
It was a gentle start to the marching season – about eight miles. Future practices will slowly build up to the 25 miles per day done for Nijmegen.

Wetherby passes the torch on
As part of the celebrations for the 75th Anniversary of the Air Training Corps, Wetherby squadron was invited to participate in a John O’Groats to Land’s End torch relay.
After 58 (Harrogate) Squadron passed us the torch at our squadron headquarters, we set off.

Here is our torch bearer team ready to go.
Part of the route took us past the set of Emmerdale.

We finished off by passing it to South and West Yorkshire Wing
